Aquatics
Aqua Aerobics
Classes last about one hour and offer an effective series of gentle movements and resistance exercises. In addition to the standard benefits of any exercise, the use of water in water aerobics supports the body and reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. The mitigation of gravity by flotation places less stress on the joints when stretching, and can allow a greater range of motion. The mitigation of gravity makes water aerobics safe for individuals able to keep their heads out of water, including the elderly.
H2O Volleyball
If you're looking for some fast moving action... this is it! This is volleyball in the water with gusto. People rotate in and out of the game son everyone gets to play. Tuesdays are reserved for ages 14 and up. On Friday nights, any ages can play!
Family Swim
This is a great way for the kids to have some fun. We host an open swim session every Thursday and Sunday for a charge of $2.50 per child.
Swim Lessons
Our program focuses on teaching children and adults how to swim, while learning the fundamentals of water safety. Private and semi-private lessons are available.
The pool at the South Yuba Club is kept at 85 Degrees F so our members have the best of all worlds. In addition to free swimming, it is warm enough for group exercise classes, wellness programs and rehabilitation.
