Learn more about Bonnie

Bonnie grew up always trying to loose weight, her mom put her on her first “diet” at 10 years of age. She tried many fad diets over the years including The Mayo Clinic Diet, Atkins, Zone, Liquid, etc. The road to controlling her weight began with a seminar she attended in the 80’s regarding aerobic activity. She began jumping rope in her living room for aerobic conditioning. She eventually joined a Health Club and loved being there so much she asked if she could work there. This was the beginning of her 20 year employment in the fitness industry. Bonnie loves the Club environment, it is an “equalizer” where all people are there for health and fitness regardless their age, occupation, wealth or status in life. Young and old alike work out amiably for a common goal. Bonnie loves the upbeat friendly health club atmosphere.

The last 5 years Bonnie worked for an in home care agency scheduling caregivers with elderly clients. Witnessing first hand the poor physical condition of clients, the poor quality of life they had, was discouraging and depressing. Bonnie decided to seek employment in the fitness industry again. She hopes to share her passion for health and fitness with people of all ages. It is especially important to pass on that as people age, their quality of life can be greatly improved by proper health and fitness through exercise and nutrition.

Bonnie loves connecting with people and listening to their “story,” Interpersonal relationships are a priority in her life. Bonnie spends her spare time at home helping her husband with his EBay business focusing on sales of vintage and collectible items. Dog obedience classes and practicing with their new puppy is a priority right now and time consuming! A major part of Bonnie’s life is visiting with her beautiful athletic daughter Laura, and three grandchildren twice a month, spending the weekend enjoying “Oma” (grandmother) time.
