Getting Started
Need some direction? Whether you're out of shape, new to a fitness club, or just looking for a little direction, our program design is the best way to develop a safe and effective exercise regime based on your individual needs and goals. You will meet with a Fitness Trainer to develop a 10-week personalized exercise program consisting of flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning and strength training. This program is complimentary with your membership. The front desk can assist you with registering for this program.
Personal Training
Want to lose weight, get toned or improve strength? Want more from your workout? Hire a personal Trainer. When it comes to your health, you deserve to work with the best! Our trainers are nationally certified and will help you achieve your health and conditioning goals. Having your own personal coach overseeing your program and progress is the key to success. You will get a call if you don't show up for your exercise sessions plus we ensure your workouts are safe and fun! That's why our clients experience life-changing results.

Youth Speed & Agility Training
Dr. Chris Cota will help your athlete improve his or her advantage on the field, court or diamond. These classes focus on increasing speed, strength, coordination and vertical leap - essential elements of all sports. This training is designed for athletes between 5th and 8th grade.
Functional Training
Functional Training is unique to South Yuba Club. These cutting edge workouts are changed regularly and use a variety of special training tools/drills including kettlebells, ropes, tires, TRX suspension training, medicine balls, functional drills and circuits to create the most incredible real life, body changing workouts you've ever experienced. Conducted in small groups of 6-10 members, functional training is perfect for anyone seeking better strength and performance for everyday life, sports, recreation and professional services (fire, police, armed services) or for anyone bored with traditional style gym workouts.
